Jeremy and I along with his parents went and looked at a herd of Charolais bulls this past Sunday and Jeremy and I picked the one below out. His parents got one as well but I did not post the pictures of them on here. We got all hookep up to the trailer and then I went yesterday and picked Jeremy up from work with the truck and trailer and we left there to get our new charolais bull. He is so gentle and looks really great. I am so excited about him and ready to put him in service this next year so that we can see what kind of calves he is gonna throw.

Tennessee Pigs Living in Arkansas

When we went to visit my family in April, dad sent pigs back home with us. I have always enjoyed working with pigs and don't know what I would do without being able to mess with them. Jeremy already had a hog pen and then daddy gave me supplies to build the boar pen. I have 5 right now: 2 gilts, 2 barrows, and 1 boar. I love messing with them every day and they keep me occupied. They are about 6 months old right now and are steadily growing. I plan to breed them in late January so that I can sell a few of them for fair pigs. I cant wait to breed them and get a litter off of them. It has been over a year since I have had my own pigs farrowing and I miss every minute of it so now hopefully I will be able to do a little of it myself here in Arkansas.

The New Mower

Mama and daddy gave us a mower back in the Spring and I am just now getting pictures posted. Daddy told us to meet them half way and he would feed us supper and give us a mower so that's what we done. We left on a Thursday after noon after Jeremy got off work and went to get it. Daddy had brought us a lawn mower and stuff to build me a boar pen with after we got back home. Both the mower and the boar pen were put to use pretty soon after we got home and we have been using both pretty regular.
