Our New Toy
About 2 weeks ago Jeremy and I went out for our date night and we wound up getting a new toy. We had been looking at Jeeps for checking cows and driving back and forth to the hay fields and just playing around in. We never could find one just like we wanted until this one. We did not like the color but we could deal with it. So far we have tinkered with it a little bit but there will be more to come. We have put new tires on, painted the finders black, and serviced it out. We have only had it for about 2 weeks and have loved it. All the pictures are kinda muddy. We can't keep it clean. We had it clean and then went in the mud with it so I will have to get pics later with it all clean and shiny.

Halloween
Jeremy's uncle Max brought their little girl Reagan by to trick-or-treat. She was so cute. She was a mouse for lunch and a giraffe to go trick-or-treat in. I don't have a pic of the mouse outfit but she was so cute.

Trip to Paris
In October we made the trip back to Paris to see my family and friends. We had so much time while we were there and wished we could have stayed longer and could have seen more of my friends. While we were there I got to see the finished product of the new elevator system dad had put up on the new grain bins. Jeremy and I were gonna climb to the top of the elevator but it was so windy that we got about half way up and it was about to blow us off. But don't worry, next chance we get we will be making it to the top.
It is so tall I couldn't get the very top in the picture. It is way up there!
While we were there, we also got to help with the annual Whiltock lock-in/bonfire. After the kids get to the building and have a devotional and sing a few songs my brothers bring them all on a hay ride over to the house to come to the bonfires. For all of you that know my daddy he always builds a huge fire to roast weanies on, then worries about it going out before everyone gets there. Gotta love him though, his big fires keep me warm.

Building of our Deer Camp
Ok, everybody get ready, I have been so busy here in the past few months I haven't been able to post so there will be a few different ones posted today!
This fall we finally got around to building our "Deer Camp". We talked about building one last year and decided to just go on a build it a couple of months ago. For those of you that don't know what I'm talking about, it's more of a place to get together and eat than anything. Every year the first week of deer season the Kitchen's get together every night and invite friends over for a meal and just a good time. Every year, they always had a big shop cleaning day so that we could do all the eating in there. But now that we have the deer camp it will stay clean year round and we can do this more than just the first week of deer season. It turned out being a lot nicer than I originally thought it was going to be but it looks great. I posted a couple pictures below of the start and finish product and then of it being used.
Going up!
Almost done.

Jeremy and I along with his parents went and looked at a herd of Charolais bulls this past Sunday and Jeremy and I picked the one below out. His parents got one as well but I did not post the pictures of them on here. We got all hookep up to the trailer and then I went yesterday and picked Jeremy up from work with the truck and trailer and we left there to get our new charolais bull. He is so gentle and looks really great. I am so excited about him and ready to put him in service this next year so that we can see what kind of calves he is gonna throw.

Tennessee Pigs Living in Arkansas
When we went to visit my family in April, dad sent pigs back home with us. I have always enjoyed working with pigs and don't know what I would do without being able to mess with them. Jeremy already had a hog pen and then daddy gave me supplies to build the boar pen. I have 5 right now: 2 gilts, 2 barrows, and 1 boar. I love messing with them every day and they keep me occupied. They are about 6 months old right now and are steadily growing. I plan to breed them in late January so that I can sell a few of them for fair pigs. I cant wait to breed them and get a litter off of them. It has been over a year since I have had my own pigs farrowing and I miss every minute of it so now hopefully I will be able to do a little of it myself here in Arkansas.

The New Mower
Mama and daddy gave us a mower back in the Spring and I am just now getting pictures posted. Daddy told us to meet them half way and he would feed us supper and give us a mower so that's what we done. We left on a Thursday after noon after Jeremy got off work and went to get it. Daddy had brought us a lawn mower and stuff to build me a boar pen with after we got back home. Both the mower and the boar pen were put to use pretty soon after we got home and we have been using both pretty regular.

I started doing all the landscaping around our house in late March and am just now updating my blog with all the pictures. We sowed the yard down in bermuda a few weeks ago and then wound up getting about 15 inches of rain within the next few days, therefore our grass is not looking good YET. It has started coming up but is still real small. I am not quite done with all of the landscaping yet but will be done soon. I plan on getting a fountain to put in the front yard but don't have it yet. Here are some of the pictures I have so far.

So it has been awhile but we are still here. We have not fallen off the side of the earth! I have just not been taking many pictures and I like to post pictures when I post something new and I just haven't had any pictures to take. We went home in February to see the family and go to Louisville for the tractor pull and the farm show. We had a great time while we were home and wished we could have stayed longer but we had to get back home.
We have finally got the old H done and it looks great. Jeremy's daddy keeps telling us that it looks better now than it did when they bought it brand new. We are really proud of it and I'm really proud of Jeremy. It was a lot of work for him to do plus his job. He is such a hard worker. Well here are the pictures and that's all i have for now. Just wanted to post to let everyone know we are still here!

Amigo Juan
While Kelli and Blake were here we took them to one of our favorite places to eat, Amigo Juan's! We eat here and at the Roadhouse pretty regular. They really enjoyed it.
Christmas and New Years
Jeremy and I headed back home to Tennessee and spent Christmas with my family for a few days. We were greatly blessed in making the trip to and from safely. We got to see lots of family that I haven't seen since the wedding and that was great. We did the Stewart tradition and went to my Aunts for Christmas Eve and spent Christmas day with my family at mom and dads house. It was great.
One of the things mom and dad got us for Christmas...matching coveralls!
My little cousins are growing so fast!
Over Christmas we also bought us a new tractor and of course it is a Case. We found it in Georgia so my father went and got it and took it to his house then when we came home from Tennessee we brought it on home from my parents. Not only did we bring the tractor home we also brought my little brother and my best fried Kelli home with us. They stayed with us until yesterday and then her parents came and got them yesterday.
Our JX1070c
This past Sunday we went 4-wheeler riding. It was Jeremy and I, Kelli and Woo, and Blake on a 4-wheeler. I believe we rode through just about every pond, ditch, and creek that we could find. We all got muddy but Kelli got the worst. She fell off the 4-wheeler when her and Woo were going through a ditch and she landed in the water. Noone was hurt but we had some good laughs.
