Us With the "Super C"

This is the one we used for our Christmas cards!
This past Sunday after church, we got out to take pictures. We decided to do Christmas cards with pictures on them to send to everyone. Especially everyone at home since we don't see each other much anymore. I put on here the one we used for our Christmas cards as well.

The Super C

Jeremy's grandpa has a 1952 Super C that he bought almost new in 53. Jeremy decided to redo it last Christmas in between his visits to come see me. We got it out the other day and washed it so we could take pictures to send in to the Fastline magazine. So here are some pics of his pride and joy.

Nitro vs. Buck

Last night Jeremy and I went to Texarkana to get my older brother and belt from Cavenders. We went to Tractor Supply, O'Reily's, and then Popeyes for supper. Then we were off to home. Everything was going good until we got about 4 miles from home when we hit a buck. It scared me pretty bad because I've never hit a deer or even been in a wreck. But we pulled off the road and checked out the Nitro and of course the deer. Apparently going 60 mph in my Nitro and hitting a 6 point buck does dont go together when they collide. Luckily we were not hurt and have full coverage on my vehichle so we will only be out our deductible. So I'm taking it this afternoon and leaving it to get fixed while we are off to Tennessee to my family.

Dogs, dogs, and more dogs.

Peanut trying to jump on the couch! He finally got up on the couch.

Goldie and Ruger like to play together and love to get their pictures taken.

Night in Texarkans

We love this place!

Jeremy and I decided to have a date night for just the two of us, somehting we have not done since we got moved out into our new house. We had decided to go to Texarkana. We went to Cavenders to get Jeremy some jeans and look at shirts and boots. Then we went to Gander Mt. just to browse around and see if there were any new goodies we wanted. After we played at Gander Mt. for a little while we went to the Roadhouse for supper. It was great as always and we even had some food left to have left overs the next day. The trip was a well needed one so that Jeremy and I could get out and have some time to ourselves and get away from some things.
So, apparently taking pictures while driving is not a good idea, but this one is the best one we got.

While At Work

Well, I have taken up a new obsession while Jeremy is at work. During the day I normally have school, wash-dry-and fold clothes, clean house, make plans for supper, check cows, and various other stuff. Most of this stuff does take up most of my time while he is at work or at least it keeps me occupied. But I have decided to take up an old hobby. A couple of years ago my parents got me a sewing machine so I decided to drag it back out and use it again. So far I have made some pillows and curtains and am planning other things to make. My only problem is I have to drive 30-40 miles away to get material and stuff because our local wal-mart does not sell that stuff anymore. I have not bought any new fabrics/material yet, I have just been using up some that I already had from a few years ago. Well I'm going to go and work on getting some more projects figured out. Any ideas, let me know.

Saturday night we had Josh and Ashley over and I made fajitas. They were great and we have decided the homemade ones are better than any mexican restaurant we have ever ate at. They were wonderful. We also decided to take a break from working on the house and everything on Sunday. We fixed a deer stand and got it all put up. We got to ride on our new 4-wheeler and play with it and got to check the deer cameras. We've got a pretty good size buck on one of our camera's and also got a few coons. Well that's all for now. Check back later for more.

Settling In!

We have finally got moved in to our new house and we are really liking it. We moved in on Friday night then the Hurricane hit so Jeremy wound up having to work Saturday, Sunday, and Monday nights. We have got most of all the important stuff out and I have just been gradually unpacking boxes while Jeremy is at work. When he gets home from work we check cows and work around the yard trying to get it all cleaned up and fixing all the fences around here. While he was at work today I went and helped his parents work cows for a little bit. It was fun while I was there and it made me feel more at home. I love when they ask me to do stuff because I miss all my jobs back a thome on the farm. Well I've have got to get the clothes washed and folded before Jeremy gets home so that is all for now.

Our New House!

Well we are finally moving in! We are so excited we just cant wait. It is a 5 bedroom, 2 living room, office, and a 2 bath house with a huge kitchen. Around the house is pretty much a jungle so Jeremy and his dad have been cleaning up around it while Jeremy's mother and sisters have been helping me get the inside of the house all cleaned up. We are beginning to move stuff in a room at a time. We plan to be all moved in and out of this house by Saturday. We can already tell this is going to be a busy and stressful week. We are not doing any remodeling quite yet, we are just trying to get moved in and out of this house. We are going to put new carpet, new counter tops on the cabinets, and a new bathtub in the bathroom soon but not sure when. We have got to get everything on the inside and outside cleaned up first. We are so glad to finally be back out into the country. We are both country folks and have never lived in the city before so these past couple months have been hard with trying to live the city life. We have also got 20 acres of land that has came with the house so were are building fences around it to put some of our calves in. Well I've got to get to packing and cleaning so this is all for now.

Back Home In Arkansas

Well we made the trip back to my plantation In Tennessee this weekend and went to the tractor pull. It was great to be back on the family farm and to be around the sport I love...tractor pulling. Dad let me drive the pulling tractor out on the track before I sang then in the middle of the pull Michael, my brother made an exibition run with it. So we had a lot of fun there. It was great to see my family and church friends. We left our dog with Jeremy's parents and they said she stayed depressed pretty much the whole time we were gone because she missed us. She was so happy for us to get back from Tennessee, but they said she was great while we were gone. So I was proud that my little girl was good.
Today, Jeremy went to work and I went with his Aunt to SAU. She showed me where all my classes are and showed me around in Magnolia. I bought all my books and will start school working towards my ag. business degree on Monday. Well gotta get back to getting the house all cleaned up and washing clothes.

Finally Settled In!

Well I'm going to try this deal since I am so far from the homestead. We'll see how it works out and let me know what you think.
So we are finally settled in or at least we think we are. Everything has been great except for the fact that we found out that I am bad allergic to fireants, and here in Arkansas they are full of them. I got attacked by them so Jeremy made me go to the doctor and he put me on medicine. Other than that everything is good we just both stay busy. He's stays busy at work and I stay busy at home playing house wife. When he gets home from work we head out to the farm and take care of our cows. Monday night we celebrated his grandpa's birthday by cooking fish. Then we went varmit hunting. We got 5 coons, 20 armadillos, 1 oppossum, and 5 hogs. It was so much fun. Last night we took his truck to Nashville, AR to get some recalls fixed on his truck. Tonight is church, tomorrow we are going to work with the calves we weaned. Then Friday when he gets home we're headed to Tennessee for the weekend. I cant wait.
Well that's all for now.
